Cleveland, Ohio's hatred for Lebron James has gotten from bad to worse. Those who used to look up to him are now burning his jerseys or whatever item that represents their former hero. Letters and videos expressing their anger, hate, disappointment and frustrations are now posted all over the web. Even his mural is being taken down by the city itself.
Now LeBron will exit Northeastern Ohio, leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers so he could join Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat. Lebron James became a free-agent on July 1, and it was reported that he was courting the New York Kicks, the New Jersey Nets, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat.
With his announcement that evening on national TV, "King James'" crown has become more than a little tarnished. He may win multiple championships in the future in Miami with the Heat, but the huge cost is one he may not have ever thought of.....and it will come with the loss of his own hometown, maybe forever.
Check out the video wherein fans burn their Lebron James jerseys and T-shirts in their hate and disgust against King James himself:
